Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How will I know the rules?
A: Click here for a link to the rule book
Q: What do I need?
A: Generally you will need two 1800's style pistols, one lever action rifle built prior to 1899 (or replica), and one shotgun that can be either a double barrel (no ejectors) or a Winchester 1897 pump shotgun (or replica). Please dress as close to traditional old west or cowboy attire as possible (for information please see the sass website). You will also need around 50 rounds for the pistol, 50 rounds for the rifle, and 25 rounds for the shotgun. Don't be afraid if you don't have all the required equipment come out and at least watch. Someone could be generous, and loan you the equipment to shoot the match.
